Donavon McGuire joined LSA in October 2019. McGuire specializes in the areas of garnishment, collection, domestic violence/family law, SSI cessation and evictions. Having worked for the Mid-Alabama Coalition for the Homeless and Cahaba Center for Mental Health, McGuire earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Auburn University Montgomery and a J.D. from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. A native of Selma, AL, McGuire has a passion for community service. A member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The Delta Pi Lambda Chapter, and 100 Black Men of Selma organization, McGuire currently serves as Project Staff Attorney for LSA’s Rural Economic Improvement Project (REIP).
