Our High Impact Team recently won a case at the Court of Appeals allowing a homeowner to avoid illegal foreclosure after the bank foreclosed on the client’s home. The High Impact Team argued that the client was never sent proper notice before the foreclosure, and that Alabama case law made it historically clear that banks must comply with the terms of the mortgage.
The Court of Appeals reversed the trial court decision and the foreclosure sale made void – our client is now able to stay in her home!
