Christopher “Chris” Jones joined Legal Services Alabama (LSA) in February 2018. Having served as IT Project Coordinator and Systems Administrator, Jones currently serves as IT Director. During his time at LSA, Jones has overseen the completion of an LSC Technology Improvement Project grant, which showed the technological strengths and weaknesses of the firm and created a plan to move LSA forward in serving the legal needs of Alabama’s client-eligible population. Prior to his move to LSA, Jones served in several roles in small-to-medium scale businesses; most recently as the IT & Operations Manager of a small telecommunications startup. With more than 9 years experience in professional IT, Jones has experience in all aspects of technology in a business setting. He enjoys putting his knowledge and experience to use, making LSA's IT department the best and most effective it can be. Jones graduated with honors from Troy University (2006) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Concentration in Information Systems.
