Legal Services Alabama (LSA) recognizes outstanding community leaders at the sixth annual Justice Fairness and Hope Awards Luncheon.
LSA’s annual Justice, Fairness, & Hope Awards Luncheon raises funds to support the LSA John Lewis Fellowship Program, and to honor changemakers whose work embodies the LSA Core principles of justice, fairness, and hope.
Established in 2019, the Fellowship Program offers employment opportunities to recent law graduates with a passion for public interest legal advocacy to emulate Lewis’ work in his native state of Alabama.
This year, Senator Doug Jones will receive the H. Tommy Wells Justice Award, the Montgomery Volunteer Lawyer Program and District Court Judges will receive the Taze Shephard Fairness Award, and the Bridge Crossing Jubilee will receive the John Lewis Hope Award.
LSA’s 6th Annual Justice, Fairness, & Hope Awards luncheon will take place at noon on May 7th, 2025 at the RSA Activity Center, 201 Dexter Ave Montgomery, AL 36104. Tickets for tables and individual seats are still available here. This year’s fellowship sponsors include Alabama Power Foundation, Beasley Allen Law Firm, BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama, Bradley Law Firm, PNC Bank, and the Steelcase Foundation. LSA looks forward to continued collaboration with its dedicated partners, supporters, and the broader community as it embarks on the next chapter of its mission.
