The Heir Property Staff Attorney will provide legal representation in civil legal matters with a primary focus on matters connected to heir property in rural areas. The primary focus of the position will be to educate communities about heir property and the legal problems that can arise surrounding it and also to assist clients in resolving issues related to heir property. The attorney will organize and attend trainings, clinics, and strategy sessions to assist attorneys, litigants, and community partners.
The position can be based out of Anniston, Birmingham, Dothan, Mobile, Montgomery, Selma or Tuscaloosa. Please include the office location for which you are interested in your application email.
